Tanya, the foundational opus of Chabad Chassidus, serves as a blueprint for living a sublime life and as a roadmap for achieving our purpose here in this world.

From unleashing our deepest potential to overcoming our greatest challenges, the Tanya conveys G-dliness in a way that transforms all of the human experience.

In this 5-part summit exploration, five leading scholars deftly unpack five of Tanya’s most central themes, unveiling their cogent resonance in our daily lives. As you join us on this unforgettable Tanyatic journey, you will come to discover that the Tanya is not a book that sits on your shelf. Rather, it is a book that sits in your heart (and mind, and soul).

The Tanya Summit is a celebration of Chai Elul, "the birthday" of the Chassidic movement. All presentations will be immediately available for viewing and will remain open to registered participants.

A Tale of Two Souls
September 10, 2025
Have you ever experienced the tug-of-war called life? Have you ever oscillated between the melodic voice whispering sublime dreams in one ear and the harsh guttural shrill growling depressing nightmares in the other? The Tanya, as Rabbi YY Jacobson so majestically presents, tells the tale of your two souls.

I am full of doubt. Or am I? I can confidently say that I struggle with my confidence. With Tanya in our hands and Rabbi Levi Dubov lighting the way, we hurdle our high self-doubt and transcend our low self-esteem to reach our deepest, most authentic selves.
I’m In. Significant.
September 10, 2025
Is there a purpose to my life? Is anything I do really significant? Do I (and my matter) really matter? Mrs. Nechama Caplan opens the purpose-packed pages of Tanya, revealing how the antidote to any feeling of insignificance is found by reading it as two words: in significance.
Is Joy An Emoji?
September 10, 2025
In an era where emotions have been reduced to emoticons, it is quite difficult to access (or even recognize) genuine joy. The Tanya, as artfully depicted by Mrs. Rochel Schmukler, unlocks the joy-gene in everything, demonstrating how every Mitzvah is a happy smile waiting to be released.
iTanya

Tanya is personal. Tanya is intimate. More than a book, Tanya is my book. Tanya empowers me to see the world by enabling me to see myself. Rabbi Tzvi Freeman opens up about opening Tanya for the first time—and how it opened himself up for the first time to his core essence, the soul of the world, his connection to Torah and Mitzvos, and his bond with G-d.
