The Eighth Day

Maybe we think Emunah is only needed when we are stuck as to what to do.
As a matter of fact though, Emunah involves the ending of time. Not physical time, like days and years or time schedule, but conceptual time, which blocks us from freedom. That is what we need to break free from. Let go of ego, and allow the EGO of the Universal Creator its rightful place. Reply

Ever since Adam and Chava ate the fruit of the “”Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil,” and were cast out of Gan Eden, we have been suffering under the curse of identifying with our bodies, and eating of the fruit of the tree. In a few words, that means the curse of the concept. From this came our concept of our self existence, aka the ego.
Our souls, or the center of our existence is still connected to the Creator, but focus on the sensations of our body. Over the years, and maybe even over the many reincarnations, we are totally habituated to our sense response to stimulation. This makes us feel safe and secure, more so depending on the amount of experience/education we accumulate, until we are fully habituated to self dependency. Self dependency cuts our attention off from focus on our Creator, and we merely do what we want, and think “I know what I’m doing” is best whether or not we can hook it on to a self-chosen scripture verse. That is a total block of Emunah. Reply

What is meant by "breaking free"? Reply

Seven days symbolize our efforts to correct our slavery to our nature through seven levels of egoism. Our efforts are fueled by a divine spark within.
On the eighth day we are ready to be free from our slavery to individualism and self love. We can unite as one holy system on a higher level of existence. Reply

The celebration on the eighth day following Pesach is one which includes chometz and it is prepared during Pesach. Even if this last day were not a Shabbat this would be a contradiction, which is worse if some preparation is needed on this day of rest. Kindly explain why we can do this non-Pesachdic work? Reply
