A gentile Christian in Tennessee, I listen to Rabbi Gordon discuss the weekly Parshas on Chabad.org almost weekly, and sometimes even daily. I love his sense of humor, his scholarship, wit, and his obvious kindness. I feel as though I know him, and that he belongs to all of us. His passing does not seem real, so I take comfort believing that he is still among us. His voice is still a comforting presence.
I listen to Rabbi Gordon's inspiring words daily. His enthusiasm for sharing Torah with everyone is a pinnacle in learning. I missed his visit to the Chabad of SE Denver years ago. I feel blessed to listen to his voice and hear his immortal comments that will forver inspire my essence of life in this world and the world to come.
I love his teachings. I did not realize that he has gone on to the kingdom of souls. Thank you for this beautiful presentation and rememberance of an amazing soul. To his friends and family, my deepest condolences.

I am so saddened to learn that Rabbi Gordon passed 5 years ago.
Rabbi Gordon's has filled my home and my life each and every day through and with his wonderful teachings for the last couple of years, with this year 5781 the focus being on Tanya.
As a person very drawn to Chabad and seeking to convert, I feel very shaken because I had no idea that Rabbi Gordon had indeed passed, at the same time I feel ignorant because I should have known if I was paying more attention.
Know that Rabbi Gordon of blessed memory lives forever in the hearts of all those who knew him, and folks like me who only knew of and about him, along with his wonderful teachings thanks to Chabad.org
I will say a special prayer, and will always hold Rabbi Gordon of blessed memory in a very special place of honor and will focus on his teachings and lessons even more so as time goes on.
Rabbi Gordon, a dedicated Chossid, who symbolised all that is admirable in Chabad, his legacy lives on and I continue to learn from/with him almost daily online.. Best wishes to all his family.
I've been listening and learning daily from Rabbi Gordon for several years now. He is greatly missed!!
One of the jokes he made makes me laugh every time, though it's a sad laugh, as was his intention to remind us of a very serious stumbling block in life.
Paraphrased for lack of absolute recall:
"The man came in and announced he'd won a million dollars a couple months ago. His friends congratulate him on such good fortune, but he's unhappy and burdened. 'What's the matter?' He explains that the next month, that is last month, he inherited 2 million. His friends get very excited and slap him on the back, but they ask him again why even after that was he so unhappy??
He explained 'This month....nothing!"
The power of this joke to open one's heart and really think on the morals involved...his presence in this world was a blessing to everyone, and because of Chabad's smart use of technology, is a blessing, and will be a blessing!
I remember when rabbi Gordon passed away, I was very sad. Now learning Rambam with him each day, it sometimes feels as though he's still alive through his Torah teaching.
Thank-you so much Rabbi Gordon for your lessons and Chabad for keeping these available for study.
May your memory live on and be blessed for generations to come. B''H
I have been listening and learning Tanya and Chumash from rabbi Gordon for seven years now. It’s my inspiration for the day. May he be a zchus for all of us. And may moshiach come very soon
Thank you to all share Rabbi Gordon's Torah study!
I hope his children will soon be published where he left off, even though I still listen to his endless message every day for many many years.
:)
My husband and I still do our chitas with you everyday and smile at all the references to your late parents and Newark where my husband grew up. We anxiously await V'at HaMoshiach when we will be reunited with the Rebbe and all the rebbeim that have influenced our lives
I still can not believe it has been 5 years, Rabbi Gordon mitzvah was beyond this world maybe it came from the world to come although I still get emotional about his passing, OBM
You still inspire us daily!! We have never met, and I only got to know you after you passed!
Love always!
Your student!!
Ah yes, Chabad makes the most of the Internet as a tool. This is my 5th year to study daily Chumash with Rashi -with Rabbi Gordon. I would have loved to have met him in person. B"H
I learn chumash and tanya from his videos every single day. His "you're killing me Larry" joke keeps me chuckling the entire day. May his neshama have the biggest aliya!

I was so sad to learn of the passing of Rabbi Gordon. I only just began watching his videos a little over a year ago, just after the passing of my husband. He was a great inspiration to me at in time of need and will continue watching his recording as ling as they are on Chabad.org. At times I felt he was speaking directly to me and his eyes stared right to my soul. May he be in everlasting peace.
