BEST I'VE EVER SEEN It's always a struggle for me to update my work calendar for Pesach and Succos: When is Yom Tov, when is Chol Hamoed, when does Yom Tov start again? And my work calendar reflects my confusion because I change it so frequently. Any coworker trying to invite or set up a meeting with me during an eight day holiday is bewildered and stumped. ‘Are you in or out?' I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them voiced the unasked question "don’t you know when your holiday ends?" (Movable Feast indeed…) This is the first calendar I've ever seen that’s clear. It’s easy, it's interesting, it's fun. Someone below called it "elegant" and that's the perfect description. So with gratitude and sincerity, I say thank you very much, koszonom szepen, mucho gracias, merci beaucoup, danke schon, spasiba a groisen dank, toda raba and shkoiech (yasher koach?). What is date of Passover? I read Torah says the 14th and the first day of Unleavened Bread is the 15th. I am confused. I really want to be Biblically right. Thank you so much.

The Passover offering is brought up on the 14th during the day. It is eaten that night, at the Seder. The holiday of Passover begins at nightfall of the 15th days. When there was a Temple and the offering was brought, the 14th was a holiday of sorts as well.

We're sorry we couldn't respond as the holiday had already started. For future reference, you light the yahrtzeit candle before lighting the Shabbat candles, using a flame that was lit before the holiday. Reply

Leviticus 23 states that the first and seventh day of Pesach are to be a holy convocation. I want to take the appropriate days off from work. Can someone tell me what days those would be this year? I think it would be April 11, and either the 17th or 18th. Much appreciated! Reply
